MCD is seeking a dynamic and qualified civil engineer to join our team as Assistant Chief Engineer. RESPONSIBILITIES Plans, designs, reviews, implements and coordinates projects and studies related to structural and non-structural flood protection and associated recreational projects. Candidate will be responsible for projects related, but not limited to: dams, levees, channel hydraulics, concrete structures and bikeways. Candidate will represent MCD in meetings or presentations to the general public, consultants, vendors, contractors and other Federal, State and local agencies as assigned. Candidate will prepare materials for public meetings and hearings; interact with the public and answer questions on technical, environmental, economic and social issues of an assigned project. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS The qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and four years of related Civil Engineering experience. Must possess valid Professional Engineer’s license as issued by Ohio Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors. Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, hydraulic modeling and GIS. Experience with construction project management a plus.
