You drink water from your faucet everyday. Shouldn't you test it once a year? Bring a sample of your well water to the Greene County Test Your Well Water & Soil Event on Thursday, Sept. 27. You can receive a free well water screening for nitrate, nitrite and iron.The event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Greene County Fairgrounds (Assembly Hall), 120 Fairground Road in Xenia. Free lead, copper, manganese and arsenic testing will be available for the first 140 households. Plus a limited supply of free lawn/soil test kits will be available, too. Have questions?
