MainStreet Piqua's "Down the River-Down a Beer" is set for Saturday, Aug. 12, at Lock 9 Park. Canoe races run from 3 to 7 p.m., with a river fire event at dusk. Beer tasting -- 99 different choices -- begins at 6 p.m.
